WINDOWS 10 NEW TWIST!!!!

Microsoft now states that 6th Gen Sky lake Processors will only Support Win 10.Windows 7 and 8.1 won’t be updated to support future generations of processors.This Means that starting with Skylake you wont be able to install.This also affects Intel’s upcoming ‘Kaby Lake’ silicon, Qualcomm’s upcoming ‘8996’ silicon aka Snapdragon 820, and AMD’s upcoming ‘Bristol Ridge’ silicon.”In addition Microsoft announced today that after July 17, 2017, only the “most critical” security fixes will be released for those platforms and those fixes will only be made available if they don’t “risk the reliability or compatibility” of Windows 7 and 8.1 on other (non-Skylake) systems.

Microsoft’s Reason is well abit Vague;

At the same time, we know many of these customers continue to rely on Windows 7 for its well understood reliability and compatibility. Windows 7 was designed nearly 10 years ago before any x86/x64 SOCs existed. For Windows 7 to run on any modern silicon, device drivers and firmware need to emulate Windows 7’s expectations for interrupt processing, bus support, and power states—which is challenging for WiFi [sic], graphics, security, and more. As partners make customization’s to legacy device drivers, services, and firmware settings, customers are likely to see regressions with Windows 7 ongoing servicing.

According to Microsoft they  announced,After July 2017, the most critical Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 security updates will be addressed for these configurations, and will be released if the update does not risk the reliability or compatibility of the Windows 7/8.1 platform on other devices.

UPDATED NEWS:

The window for compatibility, reliability, and security fixes has been extended by a year to July 17, 2018. The limitations on security fixes have also been removed; nowall security fixes will be made available—until January 14, 2020 for Windows 7 and January 10, 2023 for Windows 8.1.

Technology a Curse or a Blessing?

Technology (“science of craft”, from Greek τέχνη, techne, “art, skill, cunning of hand”; and -λογία, -logia) is the collection of techniques, skills, methods and processes used in the production of goods or services or in the accomplishment of objectives, such as scientific investigation.

Almost everyone believes that technology has made life easier and more comfortable and that it has enabled us to perform tasks that we could not do otherwise.  A list of the benefits of technology would be very long indeed.  However, as with almost everything we human beings have created, technology has a downside as it has an Upside so to speak.

How many of us for example have an IPhone or an Android Smartphone, and how many of us depend on that Phone like our lives depended upon i.e. know for a fact that I depend on my phone for direction and would have a hard time instead reading an actual map while driving. There are the parents who depend on cellphones to keep tabs on their children. Think about the single parent who is able for those few minutes have that meaningful conversation with their child who lives miles or even states away from them. It would be quite the task without that Phone. Fifty years ago it may have been days before breaking news in Chicago reached Paris. Today, it takes seconds. Through the use of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Skype, people now can communicate with one another whenever, wherever.

The problem of said technology however is that it has led to unexpected expectations. Today, expectations for many are that we are accessible 24/7. Because we have our work email synced to our smart devices, we can literally start “working” as soon as we awake each morning and can answer our last email right before going to bed at night. Many of us find it hard to fall asleep thinking about the last email we received and the impact it will have on the day ahead. The result can be as severe as insomnia or such light sleep that the body doesn’t properly recharge. Over time, the problems can intensify.[1]

We live in an age of information overload. With the advent of new technologies on a continual basis, giving people access to more information at a faster rate than ever, society is reaching a point where there is just too much stuff to absorb. With a simple motion on a touch screen, everyone has the opportunity to search and discover millions of books and billions of video files. Knowledge has never before been so easily accessible. Unfortunately, it is the kind of knowledge that most people are gravitating toward that is most concerning. William Shakespeare and Jane Austen are left at the wayside as talking-dog YouTube videos and Draw Something competitions seem to dominate our culture. Online sitcom marathons have replaced reading a book, which sometimes consists of nothing more than scanning Spark Notes. Because of texting, phone calls are becoming less common and only used for special circumstances. Text messages continue to get shorter every day, whether because we have begun to disregard the English language or grow in laziness, and abbreviations now constitute our day-to-day language. Spellcheck for a paper or resume is no longer simply helpful, but requisite because spelling skills seem to be eroding. Though it is both groundbreaking and breathtaking to have access to such multitudes of information, society is taking it for granted. Society is taking knowledge for granted.[2]

Without a Doubt without Technology we as a human Race might not be where we are and not certainly in my room sitting and typing out this article. Technology is a tool and a tool can be used for good or evil but overall and in most cases, advances in technology expand mankind’s abilities and contribute to overall wellbeing. Technology is not curse neither a blessing, it will always be there because of human curiosity but it us helped us over the years doing our work faster and easier, it along has given out more job opportunities in the world, people can become richer faster. And yet we see that for example, Technology isn’t always a blessing. Many times, it can be, but there are always those people who use it to manipulate the world to their benefit. For example, the technology for bombs, especially during WWII. So many people died, and that was not a blessing. That technology was used for evil instead of good.

These days we do not have time to waste it on our extracurricular activities. Technology is a way that helps us to compete with the world and move along with them. There r thousands of programs available and surely everything depends on technology and science. Technology should be used in a way that it helps us in a good manner and we do not misuse it, well that’s a great bid disadvantage. Technology provides excess to relevant information, it makes us connected to the world surely with our family, we r sometimes given homework in school which is only done with the help of technology. So there is no disadvantage of technology until we make a misuse of it.

Humans have depended on technology so much that no one would survive if there is no technology in the world. In conclusion, I personally felt that technology is more of a blessing than a curse. It gives us choices which we do not have before and improved the human living conditions. Technology may causes we harm but that should not deter us from improving it.

The Problem in question is finding that elusive Balance between the Curse and a Blessing!!!

  • After careful review of your credentials, it has been determined that we do not currently have a match for your background and experience.
  • Kelvin, well, I’m very sorry, but the position didn’t come to fruition after all
