HP Spectre 2nd Gen on Sale!!


News Coming in, Suggests that HP has refreshed the HP Spectre x360.The HP Spectre 2.o comes with 4K,OLED and a 15″ options.The New version focuses mainly on improved better life and with  a “refined” design.This Unit is Available Starting Today October 12th 2016 starting at $1,049.99 at HP.com and BesBuy.com

The 2.0 version keeps  the ability to bend behind the keyboard aka 360 Design but now in addition has narrower bezels by eliminating  almost 10mm on each side of the screen.The 2.0 version now is about 12% lighter and about 13% thinner.Battery life has increased by about a quarter % with a new  57.8Wand now supports Fast Charge(recharge to 90% in just 90 Minutes).HP has been quoted as saying its now has 15 Hrs Usage.The New HP Spectre now weight 2.85 lbs compared to last years 3.2lbs.

HP has spared no expense in the Sound Department with a whooping 4 Speakers instead of the regular 2 Speakers.

The New 2.0 now features 2 USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 Support and a USB-Type A 3.0 ports.The Screen  features 13.3 inch diagonal FHD IPS.

Additional features include:

  • The new dual fan design optimizes thermals to ensure the device runs cool during demanding activities
  • 7th Generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processors
  • Options with up to a 1TB PCIe SSD for fast performance and plenty of space to store high resolution videos and photos
  • HP TrueVision FHD Webcam with 12% wider field of view, great for web chats.
  • A FHD IR camera supports Windows Hello Facial Log-In for secure, easy log in without typing a password.
  • HP Fast Charge to recharge the batteries to 90 percent capacity in just 90 minutes

The fast charge has me intrigued,the numbers almost seem too good to be true.

Therefor i am excited that Leeco is set to make a Big Announcement on October 19th in San Francisco 10AM PDT Time.I hope we get to see the LeSee on stage rolling like a pimp.I reached out to LeEco on Twitter(many thanks) and they stated “what we have coming ,you’re going to love.

I am looking forward to seeing what they have to offer for the American market,who knows Huawei may have another competitor hot on their Hill’s.Healthy competition is always a good thing as the Consumer benefits.Could this be the next Big Chinese Company to make a Splash?

MOVADO MEETS HP


Well a while back we heard that HP had Engineered a watch with Movado(Not the singer).

According to HP,the Engineered by HP means that its  is infusing innovative materials, design and custom technology into the style of the devices you love, to make them more connected and responsive to the way you live.The Watch Works with both iOS (8+) and Android (4.4+). Exceptional performance with up to one week of battery life for smart functions. A beautiful water-resistant watch that’s always on.

Well now they have two designs out,namely t the MOVADO BOLD MOTION BLACK/STRAP and    shown Below.

HOW TO OPERATE THE WATCH

The Movado BOLD Motion has a button (1) on the left side of the case that controls the watch functions. Press it once to change the watch view. The views display in the following order: analog, progress tracker status, digital battery status, Bluetooth status. Analog view is displayed by default, and the watch returns to analog view after five seconds of inactivity.

The crown (2) is located on the right side of the case and is used only to set the time.

SETTING THE TIME

  • Gently pull the crown button on the Right hand side out to position (2); the seconds hand stops moving.
  • 2.Rotate the crown in either direction to move the hour and minute hands to the desired time.
  • 3.Push the crown back into position (1); the seconds hand restarts.

Notifications alerts working  by flashing the  glowing Ring found at the top of Both watches.You will get notfication like

  • Calendar Reminders
  • Priority Calls and Texts
  • Active Goals i.e daily step over a week or Months.

The Movado Watch does contain   two batteries. One battery controls the digital functions of the watch and can be recharged. The other battery controls the analog functions of the watch and is not rechargeable,which is a bummer.The  Replacement of either battery—for the analog or the digital functions—requires service from a Movado Authorized Service Center. For locations, visitwww.mgiservice.com/movado.  Before you set up the watch, charge it for at least two hours. When the battery that controls digital functions is fully charged, it should last five to seven days with minimal use.That is  amazing but the use of minimal use is always relative  to each user and i always take it with a grain of Salt.I do not have a watch to test so cannot give you an accurate answer.

The Final Piece is the BOLD App(currently at version 1.1) that you download either from Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store.Movado states that should work on devices with 4.4 and upwards or IOS 8 or higher.

The custom USB Charger prices at 19.95 USD  which is cheap considering that Both Watches are currently   Priced at 695 USD,which in my opinion is going to have a hard time selling on the market  when the Huawei Watch Black stainless steel goes for 449 USD currently and have Proper Smart Watches retailing for about 150.00 USD.

Warranty is a limited 2 Year warranty,that anyone ought to read if and when you decide to Purchase one.

Does this sound Familiar…Motorola is debuting a Sweet Piece of Tech….summer of 2014 and oh my does it Look Nice.The Bold choice to have a circular Face…looks nice but i can see a wave of tirade from those who are Anti Round/circular.The  Moto 360 as it is being called looks like a Killer Watch that will likely corner the Mobile Tech Market this Summer.

My attraction is that it looks like a regular watch, and yes i  still have the traditional watch style(im old School) and yet give you alerts!!!The Gun Metal Finish looks Sexy as hell!! …..oozing Sex appeal….How can i get my hands on one Motorola?(if you could send me one,i would be happy to test it out) .Other Colors will Follow according to the Moto website.

“Powered by Android Wear” is a term that is best explained by a Video as explaining it would be  bit much.For the developers as well not to be left out,there is a Preview of these.

  • Open office.
