If a manufacturer decides that fixing its product’s buggy software is too much work, could they (or should they) just suddenly shut down the service entirely?
At what point or length in time are manufacturers responsible for their Products.The recent acquisition of Pebble by Microsoft (Fitbit) has resulted in all warranties being voided.It also looks like Functionality and service will be reduced.
Consumers may need additional protections or new laws protecting their investments.
