END OF SUPPORT FOR XP IS OFFICIALLY

04/08/2014

NOW IS THE TIME FOR ANYONE WITH AN XP MACHINE,TO THINK ABOUT UPGRADING OR REPLACING THAT MACHINE,WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR COMPANIES,AND I KNOW A LOT THAT STILL USE XP?TIME FOR NEW BUDGETS APPROVALS AND REVISIONS!!!

Its Time to Synchronize your watches for the countdown People ,lets see how these Plays out  already Microsoft is offering a paltry 15% Upgrade(Really) at least 25% or 35% would have been a Better Offer. If Interested,Click the last Link below for more on the Discount.

TO HECK WITH JAVA!!!

Should we be writing off java, as Oracle continues to struggle to patch up java. I REMEMBER the advice I and I am sure everybody else got was to disable Java. Since then it’s become an almost weekly find and starting to look like a zero day scenario ,Like what we see with Microsoft. It may be Time to consider Java coming as an optional Download with Operating Systems like Windows, instead  its starting to look like Crap ware.I can only imagine a System Admin Debating whether to Install or update Java on a Daily Basis especially when Mission critical Software Demands Java.

Is this the End of Java as we know it?

What other alternatives are out there?

What are your thoughts?

WINDOWS 8 ON 1.78% OF ALL COMPUTERS

Image representing Windows as depicted in Crun...

Since October(late) Windows 8 has lately been rising, according to mashable.com it is at 1.78% usage but these   figures are divided between Computers and the Surface. The question on everyone’s mind is At this particular time how does it Compare to Windows 7 and Vista. Is the UI usability Being overblown by Users?

Has anyone Upgraded yet to Windows 8,and if so…..what is your View or impression??

Win or Fail??

I wonder whether the public will be won over with the Release of Windows 8,to me the Metro style does not win me over i  was disgusted with windows 7 Phones to begin with.

How to Geek

i stumbled upon this wonderful website that has a lot of hints and trick to soup up your XP,Vista or windows 7 Machine.I have tried a few of the tricks and was happy with the results.

I am always in the pursuit of achieving Greatness with Vista and Windows 7 ..Now if i had the money i would be Happy!!!!

Windows 8 aka Windows Metro

So i may be late to this party but windows 8 official release Date is October the 8th 2012(yay)…so why did Microsoft decide to go with a whole Different UI?? i have scratched by head and cannot for the life of me understand the sudden urge to use tiles!!! Stick to what is proven to work Microsoft,is that too much to ask.

The RTM( Release to Manufacture) version should be out this August, and for the first time i am not excited about a new Microsoft operating system.I remember when windows 7 came out it was fresh and actually worked..load of Driver were available as compared to Vista(win7 beta).

So according to Tech Radar   http://www.techradar.com/us/news/software/operating-systems/windows-8-release-date-and-price-all-the-latest-details-1088425 There will offer 3 versions. The first  two for Intel-based PCs (Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro) and Windows 8 RT for ARM-based tablets like the Microsoft Surface.

Although i am interested in what modifications will be done by Manufacture’s,Good and albeit bad as always the case.

Well shall Windows 8 be a Hit or Miss??? only time will tell,i hope for Microsoft’s Sake this is a win!!

On a personal not i will be sticking to Windows 7 and Vista(yes Vista) until i have exhausted their use…
